“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” – 1 John 5:4-5
This past Saturday one competitor from each of three selected African countries, Congo, Kenya, and Madagascar, came together to compete in the Africa Regional Business Plan Competition. Each competitor was given 10 minutes to present their business plan in front of a panel of judges and a virtual audience who then voted for their favorite contestant. The winner who wins the regional competition will move forward to the international competition during Nehemiah Week 2020.
There were two prizes, the people’s choice, which was based on the majority vote by the audience, and the Africa Regional Champion selected by the judges. This winner will then represent Africa at the Nehemiah Week international business plan competition. This year’s Africa Regional Business Plan Competition winner and people’s choice winner is Nina Mutegi from Kenya. Nina also joined us for an interview on the E-Community Podcast to recap the event and share her excitement over her recent victory.
