
Northwest Center Business Plan Competition
As part of the Biblical Entrepreneurship Program, the BE Business Plan Competition brings together the BE Students selected to represent their center. The Center BE Students present their ten-minute Summary Plan presentation for the opportunity to represent their center at the International BE Business Plan Competition held during the Nehemiah Summit. This guide is a tool for Center Directors to their Center Business Plan Competitions utilizing online platforms.
Competition Objectives:
- Presenters receive feedback to improve their business plan from qualified reviewers
- Presenters demonstrate their calling, ability to make their business sustainable and their vision in front of a panel of judges
- Presenters practice defending their business plan and vision in front of a panel of judges
- Build support from the community and other stakeholders around their vision
- Connect the presenters with resources to start or expand their business
- Flagship for what BE can do in the marketplace
- Select the Presenter who will represent the Region at the International BE Business Plan Competition

BRIAN BUHLER
Training and Coaching Director of Nehemiah Entrepreneurship Community
Brian Buhler, a Certified Professional Coach and Nehemiah Certified Trainer and Coach, possesses a robust 30-year career in business and technology, nationally and internationally, with notable roles at UPS for 16 years and as an IT Director in India for 13 years.
His expertise spans industrial engineering, software development, and information services. Armed with an MBA from Corban University and a BS in Computer Science, Brian is driven by a passion for helping individuals discover their purpose and fostering collaborative business environments. He extends his impact to marginalized communities in remote areas, applying sustainable Biblical Business concepts.
Brian, married for 29 years to LaVonne, has raised three children, Josiah, Emily, and Noah, cultivating a rich family life marked by diverse experiences, notably in India and the Middle East. His journey is characterized by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and transformative leadership.
