They view wealth as how the marketplace rewards them for their industry and ingenuity to enable them to live the lifestyle they want. The purpose of wealth is to achieve freedom but not the freedom to have what we want or to accumulate things but rather the freedom to achieve something more lasting and eternal.

MEET OUR TRAINER
MARK BROWN
After 38 years of service in the federal government as an IT and cyber security manager, Mark has embarked on a second act that is comprised primarily of entrepreneurship, non-profit organizational support, and community service.
His entrepreneurial pursuits include a start-up that he considers his “accidental business”. Borne of a love for healthy eating and his three grandsons, Mark founded 3 Brown Boys Granola, producing a healthy granola product. He supports a small IT company as an operations manager, is a partner in a family property development company, and is a certified instructor for Nehemiah Project International Ministries teaching biblical entrepreneurship.
Mark’s service activities include serving as an elder of the New Life SDA Church in Gaithersburg, MD, sitting on the executive board of Teach ‘Em To Fish LLC, a faith-based business incubator ministry, and serving as president of the Columbia Union chapter of Adventist-Laymen’s Services and Industries, a ministry in the Seventh-day Adventist for businesses and independent ministries. A highlight of this second act was in 2015 when he participated in a mission trip to Kenya that yielded a harvest of over 600 souls. He is also the founder of The New History Makers Program, which served young men in the prison system by preparing them for re-entry, currently inactive due to COVID-19 restrictions.
