We are excited to introduce the newest addition to the Diamond Membership of the Nehemiah E-Community!
Ehren and Kia Plummer are the founders of Rising Above Daily Youth Ranch (RADYR), an organization with a mission to provide a free-of-charge youth ranch that stands in the gap for youths and helps them discover hope, peace, and freedom. RADYR envisions a community where every youth has access to a safe haven and a nurturing community. Together with their team in RADYR, the Plummers run programs such as Equine Mentorship and Basketball Mentorship for all children between the ages of 6 to 18.
Generous contributions from community partners have made these programs free of charge for the families involved. Their heart is to minimize obstacles and freely welcome any youth who desires to participate in their programs. Click the play button below to learn more about their inspiring story:
Ehren & Kia Plummer
Ehren Plummer, Founder and Executive Director of Rising Above Daily Youth Ranch, has devoted nearly 30 years to working with youth and currently teaches middle school in Vancouver, WA. His background includes mentoring teens in Chicago and Portland through Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Young Life, as well as serving as a youth pastor. Ehren has also coached various sports at the middle and high school levels and, together with his wife, mentors several groups of teenagers. He is passionate about creating a space where young people can find hope, peace, and freedom, and is excited to bring the vision of Rising Above Daily Youth Ranch to life.
Kia Plummer, Founder and Board Member of Rising Above Daily Youth Ranch, is a kindergarten teacher who cherishes the opportunity to love and support children and their families through education. Before entering the classroom, she worked as a social worker serving at-risk youth affected by trauma in both Chicago and Portland. Passionate about the power of prayer and community, Kia believes in the collective effort it takes to meet the needs of today’s youth. Her deepest desire is for children to find belonging, hope, and freedom through connection, community, and Christ—a vision that lies at the heart of Rising Above Daily Youth Ranch. Known for her welcoming spirit and ability to make others feel valued, Kia is excited to open the ranch and expand her support for kids and families in the Southwest Washington area

Dinner & Auction
On May 31, they will be holding the Rising Above Daily Youth Ranch May Dinner & Auction, a fundraising event celebrating community and hope while empowering youth through impactful programs. The unforgettable evening offers the chance to connect with others who share a passion for positive change while supporting the incredible young individuals participating in the Equine and Sports Mentorship Programs. Although the event is currently sold out, you can still support by donating to their fundraiser or by sponsoring the dinner & auction.
