For the donor impact story of March 2023, we thought it would be a great idea to share a note of gratitude by Biblical Entrepreneur and Nehemiah Entrepreneurship Community member from France – Néhémie Lumande, founder and CEO of Nehm’s Studio.
A Passionate Young Man
My name is Nehemie Lumande, I am 25 years old, and I am the founder and CEO of the communication agency, Nehms Studio. Before becoming the Biblical Entrepreneur I am today, God made me go through different difficult stages.
Since the age of 16, I have been passionate about photography and videography, so it was only natural that I decided to go to film school, dreaming of opening my own photo studio.
One day, in 2019, while I was sleeping, my father came to wake me up and enrolled me in the Biblical Entrepreneurship class, and I was then introduced to the Nehemiah Entrepreneurship Community. I started this training and experienced a shift; God changed my initial business plan and gave me the vision of a communication agency.
I completed my business plan and participated in the Nehemiah Entrepreneurship Community France Business Plan Competition. I finished 2nd nationally, which meant that I could not participate in the International Business Plan Competition in the US, but despite this, I was determined to participate in the Nehemiah Week in Washington DC.
Nehemiah Week – A Week, a Turning Point
This conference revolutionized me. I met several people, including a Biblical Entrepreneur who challenged me. This Biblical Entrepreneur was one of the first individuals to complete Biblical Entrepreneurship and is now a very successful commercial developer. After talking with him, he told me, “I’m giving you 10 years; you have to be in my shoes.” It was with this challenge that I returned to France.
Return to Paris: the First Steps
Back in Paris, I was determined to realize the vision that God had put in my heart. In order to do this, I had to separate from my associates and create my own business. My vision with Nehms was to be good food for others as it is written in John 6:50, “This is the Bread that comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die.”
In the beginning, we were a small team of 4 people. We also welcomed our first intern and took on some exciting projects. During this period, our turnover varied between 5000€ and 10000€, and it was difficult to exceed this bar.
A Rise to Power
The year 2022 was exceptional! Through Nehms Studio, we became a blessing for many. We recruited more interns and hired some full-time staff, moved into a new office, and collaborated with new clients on an international scale (Congo Kinshasa, Cyprus, Belgium, etc.). It was at this moment that our turnover exploded; we not only exceeded the €10,000 mark but also reached the €35,000 mark. I was euphoric and full of optimism about the future!

After this wonderful period, there was a crash. Our turnover dropped and we went back under the 10,000€ mark; it was very difficult. I had to separate from some collaborators and despite all my efforts, I had the impression that nothing was moving forward.
Full of doubts, the only person I could confide in was Patrice Tsague, the CSO of the Nehemiah Entrepreneurship Community. He coached me during this difficult period, and I managed to get back on track little by little.
I still remember, during this troubled period, I checked the bank account of my company Nehms Studio; it was a shock, there was only 10€.
It was at that precise moment that God put his peace in my heart. I then took an act of faith: I went into my emails, and God spoke to me through an email to encourage me that He could take me from 10€ to 10 Million €.
What Happens Now?
Today, I am walking on the path that God has laid out for me. My company has grown from that period, we have achieved our first 6-figure turnover, we have signed partnerships with important public actors in France, such as Paris City Council, and God is taking Nehms Studio to another level.
He is writing history and we are about to make it!
