안녕하세요 Hello, one of only two words I remember in Korean. Me llamo Michelle y me gustaria viajando el mundo como una maestra por Dios. Hope my grammar in Spanish was correct. Okay, now that I have your attention, let's try my first language, English. My name is Michelle (Darice - is my first name, but long story, today I go by Michelle or D. Michelle) Besides, my love for languages and words, my life's mission is to heal the broken-hearted through writing, teaching and speaking. To date, I've written a few books and one on the way, yes they are like my babies. I've been blessed to travel throughout the U.S. and even the Middle East as a contracted trainer and consultant for the past eight years. Prior to consulting, I spent fifteen years’ in Advertising and Marketing. During this time I had the opportunity to be thanked by Oprah Winfrey, have Jamie Foxx make fun of my first name and eat lunch with hundreds of celebrities as new media/programs were piloted. Why little me? I was responsible for stewarding $100 Million to $500 Million marketing budgets for brand like Kellogg’s, Tropicana, Got Milk? and later Bounty® paper towels. Despite the glitter of the industry, and even sometimes a hint of power, throughout my career, I often felt like I did not “belong.” Many a night in Chicago I cried in the cab ride home on Michigan Avenue and later again whenever I felt this pull inside that I was not fulfilling my destiny...my true purpose. Well I'm very happy to share, only tears of joy now as I live out my purpose and life's mission through my consulting firm Destiny Resets LLC. and serving on the Executive Team for At Work on Purpose. I share my "belonging" lessons through my podcast YOU BELONG (Spotify, iTunes, Podbean, etc.) inspiring business leaders to remove the labels and titles and to “fit” even when they don't because they belong to God. I also challenge leaders to embrace "Courageous Love at Work" by providing a safe place for leaders of different races together to listen, learn and love through racial tensions. I invite you to check your Courage to Love and take the first step with this quick survey: https://assessments.gloo.us/a/RGVwbG95bWVudENvbmZpZ3wxODQxMjIxMzM1NDcwMDQ4OTA0/details If you can't tell, I'm passionate about kingdom work. If you've got a kingdom project or team that needs some strategic insight or inspiration let's connect.
