The general mindset that many Christians hold is “a public company has a fiduciary responsibility to maximize profits for the shareholders and if they are focused on that how can they serve the Kingdom first?”
Discuss this…. this may be one of the barriers blocking churches.

Thank you for the question Brian. My 2 cents take is it starts from the business owner himself and as he grow the company. His values should guide him in areas of his influence and decision making in selecting his board members, partners, staff members, setting the company value, mission, vision, etc. This way even as the company grow into a public listed company the foundation has taken root deep enough to influence the company decision to always be kingdom impact minded as they create wealth. The company may need to make difficult decisions and may not always be accepted well by everyone all the time.
