Sustained Financial Freedom

WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL BY PATRICE TSAGUE

Are you enjoying the freedom that Christ has given you? Do you have emotional and spiritual freedom? Have you been able to go beyond spiritual and emotional freedom to financial freedom?

Let’s explore this topic together in today’s devotional:

“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” – John 8:36 (NKJV)

One of the objectives of a Kingdom business is to generate wealth, but what exactly is the purpose of wealth, and how does a well-managed business lead a Biblical Entrepreneur to achieve sustained financial freedom? The purpose of wealth is freedom. Wealth gives entrepreneurs the freedom or margin to do what they really want to do. However, many have achieved freedom through wealth only to shipwreck their lives because they did not understand that the purpose of freedom is to worship and serve the Lord with our time, talents, and treasures.

How do you achieve this freedom and how do you make it sustainable? We have worked with many Biblical Entrepreneurs who have not only created wealth but are now enjoying sustained freedom and using their freedom to worship and serve the Lord in various ways. Before we address financial freedom, let’s first address spiritual and emotional freedom, without which, financial freedom has little to no value.

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” – Matthew 8:36-37 (NKJV)

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” – 3 John 2:2 (NKJV)

Yes, you can have your cake and eat it too. What is the point of having a cake if you can not eat it? You can have both financial freedom and spiritual and emotional freedom. The spiritual and emotional freedom we enjoy as Christians are free to us but it comes at a great price. Jesus Christ died so that you can find true freedom and that freedom comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” – Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)

This freedom, however, does not automatically give us financial freedom. Financial freedom comes through wealth creation and sustained financial freedom comes through wealth creation and wisdom. Sustained financial freedom is the continued margin we enjoy due to money generated through passive income.

Passive income is money generated through investments and proper wealth management. It not only serves as the engine of sustained freedom, but it also protects your freedom. Sustained freedom can not be achieved without active income, but can only be realized through passive income.

The journey to sustained freedom begins with a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Start your journey today and accept Him in your heart as your Lord and savior, or deepen your relationship with Him today!

Remember John 8:36, “if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”

My prayer for you today is that God will give you the grace to start your journey to sustained freedom by inviting him into your heart or deepening your relationship with Him.
