We had an amazing Biblical Apprentice Youth Symposium last weekend in Silver Spring, Maryland. During this day-long workshop, students ages 11 – 18 were introduced to real world business challenges and taught the value of teamwork, biblical ethics and business development.

Four dynamic business plans were presented by the student teams, with the $500 cash prize being awarded to Kingdom Energy, LLC for their creation of an organic energy sports drink.

This event would not have been possible without the faithful support of volunteer coaches and judges and the financial contributions from local sponsors. We are truly thankful for:
Our Host: The Lutheran Church of St. Andrew

Our Sponsors: Chick-Fil-A Tech Road, Wegmans Woodmore, Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company,  Enteresys, Christian Professional Network (CPN) and Ms. Francene Walker.

Our Coaches: Jo Weech, Sterling Crockett, Ricardo Brooks, Jerome Leonard, Angela Mack, Ed Prater and Dwighd Delgado

Our Judges: Ed Rosas, Richard Criste and Dr. Cheryl Hill

And finally our Biblical Apprentice Teacher Glenn Repple.

Big things continue to happen in the Washington DC metro area including the recent certification of five new BE teachers and an upcoming BE I class this June.
