Nehemiah Project International Ministries, Inc. (NPIM), held their Biblical Entrepreneurship (BE) International Business Plan Competition on October 11, 2013 during Nehemiah Week in Orlando, FL. The BE International Business Plan Competition serves as the grand finale of the Biblical Entrepreneurship Certificate Program which includes BE I, BE II and BE III. The event provides Biblical Entrepreneurs with the opportunity to defend their Biblically-based business plans, receive feedback from a panel of business professionals, and build support for their Kingdom Business. This year four competitors represented Bulgaria, Ukraine, and the U.S.
First place and $5,000 was awarded to Ivan Mudryi, Ternopil, Ukraine. His business is School of Practical English. Second place and $3,000 went to Rhonda Morgan of Pasadena, CA, and The Rhonda Bra. Third place and $2,000 went to Lyuboslav Lyubenov of Sofia, Bulgaria and The Experts Online. Honorable Mention and $1,000 was awarded to Shuree Hoffman of Seattle, WA and the Northwest Service Group.
Special guests included Biblical Apprentice student teams from Perfecting Praise Ministries and G.A. Repple & Co., who presented their first and second place winning business plans at the Biblical Apprentice held in May at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. The Biblical Apprentice Leadership Symposium prepares local teens for real world business challenges by teaching them the value of teamwork, biblical ethics and taking an idea from conception to the development of a profit-making Kingdom Business – God’s way.
Chris King of Elevation Financial Group and NPIM board member provided the keynote speech.
