Since the Annual International Biblical Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition began over 7 years ago there has not been a US contender who received first place.  Last year there was no US contender in the competition. Determined to make a comeback and hopefully win first place, the US produced three contenders this year from three different states who had to compete with each other to determine who will represent the United States of America at the International Biblical Entrepreneurship business plan competition this October 1st 2016 during Nehemiah Week in Orlando Florida.

The three contenders this year were Rick Wickizer with Wickizer & Associates from Vancouver Washington, Dean and Jane Blankenship with Hosanna Building Construction from Orlando Florida, and Lisa Macdonald with Hybrid Energy Solutions LLC from Laguna Woods California. The competition was held as a virtual competition with three judges who selected Dean and Jane Blankenship as the 2016 US Biblical Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition winner. They will represent the United States at the 2016 International Business Plan Competition in October 1st 2016 at Nehemiah Week.
