It provides practical application to put our faith into action. The overall theme of the book of James is that if what you claim to believe is not expressed through your practical actions, then you do not truly believe it. It even suggests that demons demonstrate more faith than some Christians \u2013 due to the fact that at least they tremble because they believe God exists! Yet for some of us, there is little \u201ctrembling\u201d \u2013 little evidence of our belief in God\u2019s existence, either in how we live our lives or how we operate our business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is your <a href=\"https:\/\/nehemiahecommunity.com\/biblical-entrepreneurship-3\/\">life and business in line with your beliefs<\/a>?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Does your action match your convictions?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your life and business are evidence of your belief in God\u2019s existence and a demonstration of your active faith when:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You do not allow fear and doubt to hinder you from pursuing God\u2019s promises for your life<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You live out God\u2019s Word no matter what, even if it means recognizing when you fall short\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your actions are aligned with your faith and values<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You do not adjust God\u2019s Word to fit your circumstances\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are not satisfied with the current state of your life and business, then you must do something about it! Remember, faith or belief without works or action will not bear fruit.\u00a0 If you stop talking and just do, you will surely see change.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It is important to act on what you believe and say because: <\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Action validates what you believe and say\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Action moves your business and personal goals and objectives forward\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Action helps you realize your dreams\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Action helps you defeat depression and anxiety\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Action demonstrates the fruit of your faith\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Action inspires others to act\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Action gives you momentum\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><em>In all labor there is profit, <br>But idle chatter leads only to poverty.<\/em>\u00a0<br><strong>\u2013 Proverbs 14:23 (NKJV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>My prayer for you today is that God will give you the grace and conviction to act on what you believe and say so that you can realize His full plan and purpose for your <a href=\"https:\/\/nehemiahecommunity.com\/\">life and business<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">This devotional was taken from the book <strong>The Buck Stops With You, <\/strong>by Patrice Tsague and Gabrielle E.
