Do you like where you are in life?\u00a0\u00a0
Are you satisfied with how your business is doing?\u00a0\u00a0
How is your thought life?\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.<\/em>
\u201cEat and drink!\u201d he says to you,<\/em>
But his heart is not with you.
<\/em> \u2013 Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV)<\/a><\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

As a Man Thinks \u2013 The Power of Thought<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Next to the gift of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, you have no greater asset as a Biblical Entrepreneur<\/a> than your thought life. Our thoughts are so powerful that they can certainly affect the timing and outcome of our destiny.\u00a0 You are what you think, and you become what you think the most about. Our thoughts can create billion-dollar ideas, transform mediocre companies into great ones, and create a movement that either ignites our society into an amazing future or plunges it into a dark and gloomy one.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How is your thought life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where you are in life and what you achieve is, to a large extent, a reflection of your thought life. What you think about, and the way that you think, determines what you become, and also what you produce. Do you like who you are? Do you like the status of your business, and what you are producing? If not, change your thinking.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You were created in the image and likeness of God. However, God has given you free will, and our choices can alter the image and likeness that we reflect. Free will is a double-edged sword \u2013 it can validate you and help you realize your fullest potential as God\u2019s highest creation, or it can alter you into something less than what you were created to be, and cause you to live well beneath your potential.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.<\/em>\u00a0 Deuteronomy 30:19 (NKJV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How then should we think?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16)<\/strong>, and therefore our thinking should be a reflection of how Christ thinks, and also of what He thinks about. Christ\u2019s thinking was limitless and optimistic. His thoughts were a reflection of His Father\u2019s thinking. He submitted His free will to His Father\u2019s will, and as a result, His life, both minute-to-minute as well as its final, eternal outcome, reflected the image and likeness of God.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Philippians 4:8<\/strong>, the Apostle Paul gave us some guidelines to help us think as Christ did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy \u2013 meditate on these things.<\/em> \u2013<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Philippians 4:8 (NKJV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our thinking should align with the Word of God and aim to fulfill God\u2019s purpose on earth, which will not only lead us to flourish personally but also for mankind to flourish. Our thinking should go beyond simply thinking positively \u2013 it should be a reflection of the Christlike character within. This kind of thinking \u2013 springing from the fact that \u201cwe have the mind of Christ\u201d<\/em> \u2013 as well as \u201cChrist in us, the hope of glory\u201d<\/em> (Colossians 1:27b)<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0 should lead us to build healthier families and businesses<\/a>, and contribute to the wellbeing of our communities and nations as a whole.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Imagine the possibilities for your life and business<\/a> if your thoughts consistently reflected all of these attributes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    My prayer for you is that God will give you the wisdom and grace to align your thought life to His Word, His mind, and His character, so that you can realize His purpose for your life through business.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
