Meet Andrii Solodoynk. After graduating college, he got married and started working at a door factory. While at the factory for just over a year, Andrii began to see the numerous deficiencies in production and noticed how his employer’s bad habits translated into the quality of work the employees were providing. The Lord used this to show him his own talent and desire to create.
Andrii shared his desires with his wife, who had experiences in working in child development. She reminded him of a dream he once had about producing wooden toys for kids and his business was born. Together, he and his wife moved to the small city of Zbarazh, Ukraine, with $100 USD in personal savings. They quickly began producing small and simple toys and Christmas decorations in their humble garage with All Wooden Biz Workshop.
In seeking to learn more about business and to grow in revenue, Andrii invested in himself in 2015 for the first time and attended a Biblical Entrepreneurship Program. The information he received changed his point of view on business and led him to develop his own biblical standards for his company. In 2017, Andrii again wanted to refine his business goals and took BE a second time. This time completing a full business plan centered on expanding his business. His business plan went on to win 1st Place at the November 2017 Ukrainian National Business Plan Competition. As a winner, he was invited to present his business plan at the International Business Plan Competition in Orlando, Florida, competing against six other nations. Once again Andrii took home the 1st Place prize with a presentation that wowed the judging panel and proved that his business showed the potential for All Wooden Biz’s Workshop to grow exponentially over the coming years. Andrii’s goal was simply to obtain a financing loan for the next two years. He had planned to obtain this financing via a bank credit loan so that he could hire two new employees and buy new equipment.
Andrii returned home to Ukraine to implement his business and much to his surprise, by following the Kingdom Business principles that he learned in creating his revised business plan, All Wooden Biz exceeded their annual sales goals. His business saw such a spike in profits that he was able to purchase the needed equipment, hire new employees, and now he and his wife are searching for a larger production facility. In addition to this rapid growth, Andrii also gives back to his local community by providing lessons for orphans and children from large or low-income families, providing them with skills that they can use one day to be entrepreneurs themselves.
We congratulate Andrii on his continued success. Stories from Biblical Entrepreneurship graduates like Andrii Solodovynk prove that Nehemiah Project is needed in all nations.
